That's weird. When we say that we have lofty expectations for the coaches, you have a problem with that too.

What it is, is that I see these guys just absolutely annihilating our coaches, constantly, doom and gloom. Then they turn it around suddenly and we are championship quality. Either wishy washy or trolling, what u think. Not stupid, I know what they are doing.

Well, you haven't seen me do that in the last 6 weeks since you said that's when you started lurking. I've been defending Orgeron on the transfers, Taylor, Davis and even people saying he can't win. So, what's your reason for accusing me of being a troll? If anything I've been an Orgeron defender for the last 2 months.

I've lurked off an on for a few years. I've seen who is constantly negative. I've seen you in the past. You take a different approach now, that's all.

He is getting his shot to prove he can be the man on offense. All LSU fans hope he's up to the task. O needs him to be good right off the bat. Another start like last season will be very bad for O and his hopes to remain the LSU coach.

Well you would be surprised. I never took the time to create a username. Honestly, it's all the constant bashing that finally drew me in.
Truth is I go all the way back to 2008. I remember miles got bashed often too. There were some that said he would never beat Meyer or saban again. As usual, they were wrong.

The defense should be good enough to carry the O for the first couple games. Will need improvement by Auburn.

You mean by game fricking 3? Outstanding analysis. Miami is loaded on defense. The offense will absolutely have to have a pulse in the opener. If LSU needs the defense to carry it over SELU then this season will be a special kind of bad.

Agreed. It will be another frustrating year if the offense cannot hold up its end of the bargain. And it really doesnt have to match the quality of defensive play, just be steady and move the ball when it needs to. While that sounds easy, I'm not optimistic that they will. Even with improved qb play, the o-line and running back play will need to be very solid.

Be that as it may, he has RESPECT, which used to mean a lot more than it does nowadays. Kids these days could learn a thing or two about that, it's also something you can't study for or pay for - it's earned.
Because those are comparable hires that were made at OC in the past 5 years.
