That Memphis coach looks like he is 14. Man, I'm really happy to see us hanging. It may not be pretty, but neither are they.

up 1 at the half w/ Stringer having 1 pt, Turner sitting most of the half, and Warren sitting most of the half. We could steal this one.

that might be the most impressive 1st half of LSU basketball i've ever witnessed considering the opponent, the foul trouble and bass, green and ludwig playing way above anything ive ever seen.

Some stats at the half...

Dotson with 12 points and 4 assists, 2/2 from 3pt range
Green and Ludwig each have 8 points and ZERO turnovers

We are shooting 43% from the field

Fellas,

Who knows what the second half is going to bring but that was impressive. I like the trending that TJ has LSU moving into. Nice half court ball movement. Bass/Green came in and settled them down in half court a lot. Off ball defense/help side looked good. Some of those cross-court wide open shots by Memphis should not have been as open as they were but overall this seems to be a well coached/young team.

This will be a fun team to watch mature. We have several players who have extremely high basketball IQs, which is a welcomed addition to our program. Dotson and Ludwig particularly standout. Bass has really improved also. Turner appears to be an OUTSTANDING player as well, from what little I've seen of him this year.

I'm impressed. We may not win, but for a relatively young team, we're playing intelligent basketball.

Oh and Memphis only has 2 offensive boards, we are limiting 2nd chance points very well

Amen.

This isn't a jump out of your seat type team. They won't Shaq dunk you or light it up like CJ but they seem willing to make good passes and sacrifice on d.

Your thread fails most every other thread the person who starts it such as gmorgan for baseball or any other person that does football always updating the score, maybe people have gotten used to a more professional thread with score updates and pbp mr lazy bones for the ppl who are lurking on this site!
