True, but our last loss was to cupcake UAB under Saban. I believe Bama’s Was to ULM under Saban as well.
The shear number still makes it impressive, in my opinion, though not as impressive as if we had at lest a couple more major programs in there.

Don't forget there were wins vs. Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Oregon State, Washington, Arizona and Arizona St. (a designated home game) in that 49 game streak. Those teams were not cupcakes.

We beat Washington, Oregon, North Carolina, and someone else which you are not counting because the game was in Texas, but essentially was a home game so you are reaching. We also beat someone else of significance.
