Go watch the replay. Fontenot had great stuff tonight. His pitches tonight were not hit able. Now I am the first person to tell you when he is off he is horrible. When he is on he is on.

He hung another 0-2 slider that he’s lucky didn’t end up in the bleachers.

Kids played their hearts out tonight. We’re the better team, regardless of what happens. Thompson looks so bad, but we really don’t have any other options. I’d still let Cranford go. Doughty should be at 3B, but we’re stuck with this.

The only reason he takes pitchers that are doing good out is for one of two reasons. He’s either going matchup or he’s saving them for later in the weekend.
The guys you saw throw 6 pitches were the former. Then you’ve got lansville after Hilliard because he’s an inning eater.
He consistently keeps us in games so that Thompson can frick them up.

I’d give Luke Leto his shot. I mean what do you have to lose he can’t be any worse than JT… Jt hasn’t ridden pine once this year, so it’s gotta make you wonder if he even knows how bad he truly is doing; or if he does know and just doesn’t care bc he’s seen that he’s not coming off the field no matter what… CJJ has to do something.
I doubt Leto traveled with them so if I was CJJ and had to work with what I got, I’d move Daughty to SS and Dugas to 2nd. That leaves our outfield the same like we have it now, which is good. Plus it gives us Dugas’ bat back into the lineup…
Idt Bianco made the trip to Fayetteville so he might not even be an option.
