Realistically, LSU has no true superstars on defense. A combination of inexperience and not being as talented as prior defenses is showing. We are seeing a bend but dont break defense out of necessity not choice.
Offensively, the o-line isnt great but are serviceable. The receivers are inconsistent, prob for lack of reps and a sporatic passing gameplan. As we play tougher caliber teams, this team will struggle but hopefully they can pull out those games.
I think we all want to believe that we are BACK TO BEING DOMINANT but personally, this isnt our year. Too much youth and inexperience. Next year, however, we should be better than we've been in a while.
