Actually it was 11 as far as our players are concerned, and it totally had an impact.

Good game Syracuse. Yall came to play and gave us a run for our money. Thanks for exploiting our weaknessed and giving the coaches some film to improve upon. I wish yall the best of luck the rest of the season and look forward to Syracuse -LSU matchup in the final four.

To be fair, if our freshman phenom Dungey was playing, we would have won. We came into this game with 4 offensive starters out too.
Also, without Fournette, you guys would be struggling this year. The dropoff from him to the backups is significant, and Cameron is a weak NFL style playcaller. Enjoy having such a talented player for another year. He is just incredible.
Overall, great game and great crowd. Best of luck through the rest of the year. I can't wait for the rematch in two years!

I'm surprised such a proud fanbase is making so many excuses. You guys are better than this. Your team needs work, and Cuse is better than any of us expected, even Cuse fans.
Fournette is your offense, and your defense is suspect. Thats not a winning formula for a team with Championship asperations.
After what I saw today, I don't think you win with our starting QB playing. With the rest of our offense starters? We win going away.

you must be new. Our fanbase (atleast the ones on this site) is one of the worst in cfb and LSU has a long history of Ritter and his crew screwing LSU over the years.

Defense is good they just had too many penalties. Our passing game is a work in progress, but we have plenty of depth at rb behind LF7. If you go back and watch the MSU and Auburn games Darren Williams and Guice are almost as impressive

Someone with perspective! Thanks for conversing instead of down voting and acting like I'm out of my mind. I have no ill intent with anything I'm posting here. Just commenting as a football fan. LSU is not infallible like some of the posters here think.

What a sad sack fan. You cant possibly have watched the game I watched. You were dominated and Donovan McNabb wouldn't have made a difference.
The officiating was pathetic and if you can't see that I can't help you. LSU traveled up to your dump of a venue and played 3 hours earlier than they are used to and dominated your team.
Stop with the what ifs and maybes and stop trying to say this game was close or could've been different.
LSU used this game to tweak it's passing game and you sir are a total moron.

The game was no where as close as the final score says and if you're being honest with yourself you would know that.
