Marcell will not be playing safety lol

I’m sure the OP went by the fact he is currently listed as a safety on the roster online. I think they would like him to put a little more weight on but, if memory serves, he definitely played well at OLB when he had the opportunity this season.

This is not a worst case scenario. This is listing every 3rd/4th year player as gone and running around like chicken little. It's not gonna happen.

Saddiq Charles 77 OT

I don’t think Charles/Cush/Deculus all leave. I could see losing 2 of those 3 though, and I think the best case scenario is losing one of those three.

Again, seems unlikely that we lose all three of these guys. I think at least one of the ILBs come back.

Overall, I think OL is going to be the biggest area of concern going into 2020 (unless we get lucky and everyone stays). I think DB will be the concern going into 2021.

While you can't be 100% sure of anything in leaving for the draft, I can say with the highest percentage based on my opinion alone, that Deculus, Queen, Logan and Saahdiq Charles, are staying.

I could see Cush leaving, I could see Stevens leaving, I could see Moss leaving, but I can also see them staying. None of them will have higher than a 3rd round grade (maybe 4th), and all three have the chance to soar up draft boards next year.

Moss would be a fool if he leaves. He could be a middle first round pick in 2021. Lots of money.

True. He'll be one of the top 3 most experienced pass catchers. I was kinda surprised considering so many people think he's. going to leave. I just don't understand how you leave after starting for one year with only those numbers.

So let me get this straight you think we will lose literally every single draft eligible underclassman... I just want to make sure that this is your mindset.

I said worst scenario man? All you negatigers obviously can’t read..... Do I actually think these guys will leave? Not necessarily but it’s a pretty high possibility. Ed Alexander left last year because he was “finally healthy” and look at him now, no where. Does a guy like Glenn Logan have the same mentality? Austin Deculus doesn’t have a whole lot of talk about him but he’s played 36+ games, does he leave early? I doubt it but it’s a possibility, same with Charles who’s been starting majority of games since a freshman. Phillips has been 2nd and 1st in tackles the last season and this year. Queen has broken out to become an absolute freak this year. Also I’ve thought about the idea that Burrow goes the Bengals, the bengals may go after the Joes best friends, the OLine, especially if a guy like Deculus or Charles slip.

It’s all just food for thought.

A lot of folks that have chimes in on this post act like LSU isn’t a NFL breeding ground, just cause their names aren’t out there that much doesn’t mean these teams won’t pick these guys up. An LSU player with a hopeful national championship under their name will be picked before these smaller non p5 guys. LSU isn’t just DBU or WRU, we have studs playing all positions in the NFL, plenty of great talent on our team, that if they decide, can be ready for the big stage in 2020.
