re: LSU 2018 offense was one of the most productive in the last 10 years

No. I want you to be intellectually honest when making comparisons. When you select some stats to present an argument but ignore other data as equally important, then you aren’t presenting the facts (and shite).

A lawyer that legit opens his argument up by discrediting his knowledge of what's going on in the thread and admitting that hes acting on an unverified assumption?

Its amazing watching posters like you that questioned our talent in 2017 and then turn around and use that talent as an excuse for this year.
It’s amazing that a Duke grad can’t comprehend that there’s no questioning of our 2017 talent on my posts. We had a competent, but not great, returning senior starter at QB, a dynamic and experienced 1-2 punch at RB, a returning starter and deep threat WR that was a second round pick, a bevy of talented but young WRs, and an experienced OL in which three were good enough to test the NFL waters.
ETA: and LSU played one of its easiest schedules in years.
With all of that the offense averaged 26.1 PPG. Rick, there’s an example of underachieving, not 2018.

I see you making new friends. Funny how that works with narcissistic people. You go Rick.

You are asking him to be objective. You are asking Rick that? The most narcissistic poster on this board. He would run through a burning building to get facts to support his agenda rather than have an open and honestly objective discussion. As for troll rollings, he is so blatant he isn't even a good troll.

RickyDaddy cherry picks stats to prop up his flmsy arguments while ignoring others. I don’t entirely take issue with that. I take issue with his masquerade that he’s a Duke-educated scientist. One that can’t evaluate all of the data. I’d have way more respect for him if he said he dropped out of high school and worked on a framing contracting crew than continue his charade.

There's nothing about this thread that is "intellectually honest". You really think our offense was good last year?
Posted on 2/12/19 at 7:15 am to The First Cut
Yes, the defensive rank of the teams lsu played in the top 40 for 2018 was as follows:
1
4
13
16
27
28
32
38
For 2017:
1
11
12
27
31

They dont think, they feel.

I think it was better than 2017, yes, especially considering the talent level of each offense. I can objectively look at the issues facing the 2018 and say hey, despite playing a lot of good to great defensive teams, they still outperformed Texas a&m, Auburn, OM, State, and arky, in conference play.
I am definitely excited about the 2019 offense. I understand you aren't allowed to be given your agenda.

No one believes his Duke lie. I do have issue with his arguments. I'd love to have rational and objective talk on here without the agenda driven debate. For instance, I'm excited about the 2019 offense and overall team. If they fail, I have no problem placing blame on O and E. I think they significantly overachieved in 2018. This year, they have what they need.
Posted on 2/12/19 at 7:23 am to tigertex1992
No, I don’t think the offense was good. However I’m rational enough to realize the QB was on campus something like 12 weeks before the season started. Our top RB spent the majority of his career on 4th team. Our top WR was given a scholarship only after we missed on others. Finally, our OL had 4 new starters and even then was a revolving door.
With all of that, some stats improved over 2017 and others weren’t that far off. That’s one hell of an accomplishment.

You absolutely care what other people think on this board... I’m sorry sorry you may not but your post history sure does.

So you have no problem holding O accountable if he fails, but you just have an unbelievably low bar when it comes to what you consider success. Got it.

Just came off a top 10 win
Right tackle was owned all night
2nd game in new offense
Burrows second start
Team probably looking to Auburn game
Who cares wewkn 31-0 and then beat Auburn
I think it has to do with you would completely bash this and call the other coach an idiot. Never once when LSU won and didn't play that well did you say, who cares.
Actually seeing how the offense did better in the last two games. Could you imagine if that was year 3 under E instead of starting over in year 1? Problems created by Ed.

You just dont like that they shite on your opinion so you claim they are cherry picked.

You have no fricking clue what youre talking about. Having a physics degree in no way makes you a scientist.

I dont need the respect of some football ignorant poster that is jealous that my degree shits on his.
Get a life and stop being upset that youre intellectually inferior.

Whats flimsy about saying the 2015 offense was vastly superior to the 2018 offense? Its a cold hard fact that hurst your soul for some reason.
There is nothing flimsy about it.
