Does Mainieri let Gausman finish the game? I think you have to. You can't put in a Bradshaw and let Mississippi State get any momentum.

Just to give a freshman some rest for his next start after a long season.
But since postseason isn't guaranteed there's no need to rest him. He'll get two weeks off if LSU doesn't make the SEC tournament.
