This is a really good point. It’s not just the good AB that got the run homer with a sac fly, it’s the AB before that that moved the guy who scored over from 2nd to 3rd with 1 out. And the AB before that that got the guy who scored on base with no outs. We are stringing a lot of good ABs in a row.

But that home run Vandy just hit could be a positive if used correctly. A 5-run lead is nothing in the 2nd inning in this park with this wind. This would be a great time for a team leader to go up and down the dug out when they get in, and remind them to keep their feet on their necks. Keep scoring. Step on their fricking necks. Don’t let them even think they can come back.
