they've won 44 of 53 games this season
if LSU had done that... LSU would be a no doubt top-8 seed and probably the #1 overall seed
but since it's UCSB (and their shite schedule)... they're barely top 16
FWIW... UCSB's only top-50 wins came in a 3 game sweep of Cal-Irvine... and UCI is trying to lock down a series win over Cal-Riverside but is tied 1-1 in the 8th inning
If Cal Poly finishes the sweep of UCSB tomorrow... the Big West title could be split 3 ways (Cal Poly - who would get the conference's auto-bid to regionals, UCSB, & UCI - if Irvine sweeps Cal-Riverside)
