Apparantly Dave Neal and you don't understand that when a pitcher is struggling to throw strikes, throwing up a bunt greatly distracts him from being able to see the strike zone. Neal was flabbergasted that Cano threw up bunt when he was 8 for 18, but our pitcher had HBP and BB 1 or 2 guys. It's sheerly to distract pitcher from the zone. Little kids do this in 11/12. Neal doesn't know baseball.
Cano botched the sign, you could read his coach’s lips when they talked during the timeout, and in case you weren’t sure he confirmed it in the interview.
