That’s an apples to oranges comparison. Football only plays 1 game a week. Softball has free substitution and plays multiple games in a day. Rules need to change to adapt to the athletes…these aren’t the tiny unathletic girls that this game was designed for

What has happened to Pleasants per the course of her career here? Just progressively worse each year.
Also this girl is pounding the strike zone. Our girls can close their eyes and swing and have better success than watching all these pitches.

I just can't wrap my head around the difference in approach at the plate between the 1st game and these last 2. The whole reason they chased this pitcher the first game was because they were aggressive swinging at everything. Now they're just watching strikes go by.

Just like last night. Not attacking but rather taking timid approaches at the plate. That is not going to cut it against this pitcher.
