Watching the replay of the game in Austin. Anyone else concerned our D won’t be able to hold up if we keep scoring so quickly? Do you think over the season this fast paced offense won’t work because our defense won’t have time to rest?

I remember being afraid the offense was just gonna have to play both ways since nearly every frickin one of our defenders cramped Up all game long.

Then of course we learn that Texas is trash and we didn’t have water or AC and whatnot...

Defense is dogshit. We finally have an offense but won’t do better than 9-3 with this Swiss cheese defense.

You obviously know nothing about this team if you don’t think this defense will be sick. We will have the best secondary in the nation

Clearly some of us didn’t catch the sarcasm haha. I’m admittedly too lazy. Someone please link the meltdown threads from the game and Monday morning QBs about how our defense won’t hold up if the offense keeps scoring so quickly. “We can’t rely on just our defense to win games! We need an offense!” “OMG our offense needs to quit scoring so much! Our defense can’t keep up!”

Here’s to our Championship Tigers and defending that honor against all who shall attempt to stand in our way this year...including that punk arse covid

Not even a little bit. Pressure that we will be bringing this year only will add to the erratic Ehlinger.

To bad we will only have 25,000 fans who will have to win a lottery to get in.

Some Texas dude was getting pissed when the LSU players kept cramping up. He started screaming at the two LSU ladies next to them. They were all in the row in front of me. Before any LSU fans could even step in, his buddies grabbed him and dragged him out the section. He never came back.

I mean the offense is good, but we still haven't played a real defense. No way we could hang 40 on teams like Florida, Alabama, or C1emson.

We have a good bit more quality depth on the DLine this year. Having said that no doubt we are in for a challenge in the Texas offense.

Anyone who thinks Texas won’t be a tough game this year is kidding themselves.

These types of threads stayed pretty frequent until after the Bama game and never truly stopped until after Georgia. I think going into the playoffs may have been the single most unified this board has ever been. No one thought they were going to lose at that point to any team in the country. It was tough to find anything to complain about.

I feel the same way looking back on that game as I did the Bama game. We should have won by 14 or more both times but our defense allowed these clowns to make the games look closer than they were. UT scored on a huge 4th down play with less than a minute left to make it 45-38. It should’ve been 45-31 easily. Bama should have also been 46-34 or even less. Wins a win but a larger margin there would have been great.

Yeah they were getting restless around me as well and I kinda understood how I’d feel the other other way around.
Problem is looking at the game a couple times the cramps happened at inopportune times for us as well.
