LSU @ Florida Baseball Predictions

Really interesting series this weekend. LSU gets a good time to get Florida since they are playing bad baseball right now and I got a feeling Florida will be playing their best baseball towards the end of the season. Should be a good series though. Anytime these 2 teams meet on the diamond it's always a very good game.
Even though the Gators aren't playing their best baseball right now they still won't be easy to beat. Sully is not going to let his team not show up and play bad. He's going to have them ready to play. I predict LSU's pitching will be too much for the struggling Florida offense and I predict LSU takes the series winning the series 2-1. What's your thoughts? GEAUX TIGERS!

My prediction is that loss being tomorrow night vs Lange. But, depends if he is on or off. I've noticed this year that he has major control issues. If he can locate his fastball and curve, we win. If not, we lose. Faedo is a good pitcher and will keep our bats limited.

Our only win will be Saturday. We'll lose Fri and Sun each by one run.
Fortunately, our series with Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Auburn, and Carolina are all in BR. Our pivotal series is at Arkansas, imo,

My heart says 2-1 LSU but my head says 2-1 UF. The Gators will be up for this series, and after getting swept, we will see their best baseball.

I could see your point but I'm not sold on UF this year. After getting embarrassed last weekend, I figured they would bounce back strong in their midweek vs Stetson and they looked awfully bad. Bats were shaky and pitching was atrocious giving up 20 hits. Granted, those were relieving guys but LSU is hitting the ball well.

Florida is really good at home, really bad on the road and neutral site games. The same can be said for LSU.
That the games are in Gainesville doesn't help.
I predict 1-2, but would love if we can win the series.

I will always hope for a sweep no matter who the opponent is. Playing Florida on the road, I expect we win one, but two ain't out the question.

UF wins 2-1...teams split games one and two: 4-3 fashion and then Sunday is high scoring with the Gators edging us 10-9.
