And brings other things to the table.

Extremely smart.

Not a RB, but a QB.

Damn strong praise coming from OC about a true freshman QB.

People pick on TIGRLEE apparently because he was an unapologetic fan of Jarrett Lee, and not a fan of JJ. Somehow, this was determined because TIGRLEE prefers pasty white to dark skin. Just a rumor.

For the record, I was also a much bigger fan of J.Lee than JJ, and didn't even want JJ to see the field when he returned in 2011. Thought it was one of Les' bigger mistakes at the time. (and on 1/9/12)

I think it's because I don't have the boycrush on former and current LSU football players the way many here do.

Just a guess though.

As I said, I like AJ...but I'm not going on all in on him over other qbs on our roster until he gives me reason on the field to do so.
It's really not a difficult thing to understand.

The divide is so big in this board on how people see things that you actually have a few that believe something is wrong with me (or anyone else) who's not all in on certain players ie... AJ now.
I don't understand this logic at all.

I recall similar comments about Perriloux.

And if Perriloux would have had his head screwed on correctly at LSU, he may have been as good as we all thought we would be.

Comparing AJ to Perriloux, and why Perriloux did not succeed doesn't make much sense.

Not bad summary clam.
Not bad at all.... Plus the fact I turned out to right all along.
Certain kids here just couldn't/cant get past it.

what other QBs only one has played and that is Mett, you havent seen Rivers or Bolden in exclusive action.

so ummm yea, it is pretty difficult to understand.

Why the need to discuss 2011 again is strange, but since you did---did you feel the same way when T-Bob returned to the team after his drunk driving arrest? Both were first time offenders and with the same level of criminal charge.

The LSU offense gained more yards and scored more points from games 9 to game 13 than it did from game one to game eight.

None... That's the point moron.
I nor anyone else here have seen any other qb outside ZM do anything on the field.
That's why I'm not creaming my pants over one guy as opposed to another.

Some of are so pathetic if a poster stated they were all aboard the rivers or bolden or rettig bandwagon you'd get mad and have panties all in awad.

i really feel sorry for Anthony Jennings. If he isn't starting by mid-season, some people are going to start labeling him a bust. And, if he doesn't win a National Championship after his sophomore season, people are going to want him benched.

I'm sure the future looks bright, but there is WAY too much hype about him currently.

Western uk and ole miss.
What was qb stats for seccg? I suppose one good game out of 4 ain't bad. ie... Ark.

Worth mentioning since you brought it up.
It's 2013, I've moved on. How about you do the same.

I believe I would have used Rettig before either....but in defense of Tigerlee, he only said he hasn't seen AJ play yet, he didn't say the other two were going to lead us to a NC or three prior to seeing them on the field.

on T-Bob, that wasn't really on my radar, to tell the truth. My reasons for not wanting JJ to see the field except in scrub duty when he returned in 2011 was because LSU was putting together its best season in my lifetime and I didn't want that screwed it. Had nothing to do with him or the Marine or the placement of his shoe, specifically.

I thought JJ coming back would disrupt the flow of the offense and unwind some of the great strides JLee and Stud were making. That LSU offense of first half of 2011 was forming into my dream offense: brutal running game, accurate and timely play-action pass, deep balls that achieved something, good mix of showing slight new wrinkles with each passing week.

JJ coming in soured our offense, period. No way you can look at the early parts of Ark and UGA games and say differently.

So, you can try to make this a white/black think with JJ and T-Bob, but it wasn't with me.

For the record, I felt the same thing about Rohan >> Booty. Booty was a lockerroom distraction, inconsistent on the field, and JJ was the same thing in my view.

We will see but this year is Metts year so get that out of your skulls. Miles may play Jennings in mop up or may have certain plays designed for him but Mett will be the starter unless hes horrible or gets hurt. Im just as excited about Jennings and would like to see him at some point get significant time in before next season

Try ONE interception, or a couple incomplete passes...I can hear it now.
