Yeah, maybe you misunderstood. The first part of that parlay basically covers everything from an LSU win to an Ole Miss win of less than 11 points. So basically I'm betting that LSU will win OR Ole Miss won't win by more than 10 points, along with Ole Miss being held to less than 35 points and the total game points being less than 80. Even in an LSU 50 OM 20 type blowout, I don't see it getting above 80 points with our defense.

Offensively I think LSU has some consistency issues. The OL has been inconsistent. Leavitt has been good running the ball, the passing (healthy or not) has been inconsistent. I'm not 100% sold on the running game (outside of Leavitt). I think Jones is a solid back, but I don't think he is a gamechanger capable of ripping off big gains at any given moment. Outside of Watkins and Green, the pass catchers have been inconsistent. HOWEVER, I do trust this offensive staff to generate production even with the consistency issues...as long as LSU doesn't turn the ball over.

Defensively, I like this team a lot. That optimism could come crashing down on Saturday and we learn that Clemson and La Tech are just that bad offensively. But this defense has not just been good in the first two games. It's been dominant at a level even some of LSU's great defensive teams of the past haven't been. Clemson and LT were unable to pass for 100 yards in 3 quarters each against the first team defense. They struggled to even get a 1st down. (1 non penalty first down gained in ~6 quarters). LSU had 27 sacks in 13 games last season. This year they already have 12...in TWO games. The DEs have been terrors. The LBs may be the best tandem LSU has had in nearly a decade (yes, that includes Queen and Phillips in 2019). The secondary has allowed 1 pass for over 20 yards in two games.

I'm not predicting a shutout by any means. But I struggle to see OM getting 20 points unless LSU's offensive turns the ball over multiple times in their own territory.
