When it comes to the elite teams it matters. That's the reason Kentucky, KU (overated), Michigan St and Marquette are higher right now.

1. it's a poll made up of writers from around the country and means absolutely ZERO when it comes to seeding, so frankly it doesn't matter that those teams are higher.
2. You simply said we didn't play anyone outside of Kentucky, which is categorically false in the only metric that makes an impact come March. The committee uses NET rankings not the polls, and in that regard we have a lot of really really good wins

They’ve beaten plenty of good teams. Do they have an OOC signature win like a UNC or Duke? No. But it was a good OOC. Stick to baseball.. actually.. you’re a moron when it comes to that too.

Speaking of OOC I'm just glad we're past the days of multiple 300+ RPI/NET teams... Our OOC wasn't flashy, but it built a good foundation of a resume... Can't wait for that VCU home and home though
