Just a quick reminder to all....this is what he has to be every single day. You all win. Take comfort

Why would anyone argue against this logic? The problem is that you cannot completely disregard a win because a team spiraled. The way a season can unfold is a tentative thing and it’s foolish to suggest that a loss doesn’t change a teams mindset and can’t alter the trajectory of a season in more ways than that single game. Auburn has more good seasons than bad and it’s safe to say the same for Miami. Talented teams have rough seasons. It doesnt mean they are terrible. Seems like a bit of an oversimplification.

t doesn’t really matter. We beat them when it mattered. At the time they were ranked highly.
So if LSU is ranked in the top 5, then loses 4 games, it doesn't matter? Because we were top 5 at one point. And that's all that matters.

you people are pathetic. It wouldnt matter what LSU accomplished on the football field.....you would find a way to diminish it.
This is the same crap you used to bitch at Miles' detractors about...and here you are doing the exact same thing.
GFY!

They don't know LSU's history at Auburn. Nor do they care. They are just here to bash and belittle.
You made a great point that was wasted on imbeciles.
"The home team has won eight out of the last nine meetings, and LSU can’t seem to play well at all at Auburn. Even in the lone road win, LSU won 12-10 in 2012 against an Auburn team that finished 3-9. Jordan-Hare hasn’t been kind at all to the Fighting Tigers."

Tired of getting your arse handed to you? You're effectively ignoring other posts in this thread.
The rebuttals to those posts don't exist in the binder?

Like the fact that LSU this past season beat team's that finished ranked #7/8, #11/12 and #25.
While losing to the #2, #7/6 on the road and #16 on the road with a lot of assistance.
That rebuttal?
If it makes you feel bad and you want to cry, I'm here for you. Let it out, it can only make you feel better. Sorry if I don't feel your pain and happen to be happy about last season and looking forward to the coming campaign.

I already brought this up. What is your point?

They lost 3 SEC games. Your rebuttal is about as embarrassing as Orgeron's Red Bull bath against A&M

I really think that you think this is a clever soap box to stand on. That's really sad because no one is laughing with you. They are laughing at you

not sure happy is the right word Ree.
Pleased with a 10-win campaign would be more like it.
O has got to improve on this though at some point or....as the Bitch Crew has stated ad nauseum.....he must go.
Still think the problem is CSE but time will tell.

Yes. It's sounds much better than saying since Coach O became the full time HC he is 3-6 against teams that finished the season ranked.
For accuracy's sake 4-6. He was named full time HC in November of 2016 prior to beating Louisville that finished ranked 21st (15th prior to losing to LSU).

Hypothetical: Team A is ranked no. 1 in preseason. But then they go 0-12. If we beat them the first game of the season, does that mean we beat a no. 1 team?
Of course not. It's all about where teams FINISH the season, not where they begin it in some silly voter poll.

You just don't understand. LSU would be the reason they fell off and finished the season without a win

“ pleased with a 10 win campaign”
So, I guess a 10 win season is no longer “underachieving” for LSU football.

I bet you actually think that people would diminish it if O took the team undefeated and won a national championship.

Don't put words in my mouth dumbass....that's not what I said.
I distinguished between happy and pleased is all.
Additionally, Miles used to lose games he shouldn't with VASTLY superior talent over his opponents. I wouldn't call the talent we've had the last few years vastly superior to any team.
Are you displeased with 10 wins? Cuz that would make you a whiny bitch.

“ dumbass”
I’m not the one who wihined continually about LSU 10 win seasons being “underachieving” to only now be pleased with one.
A 10 win season when you play football in the SEC West has always been a good year, But we haven’t wanted just good years for a long time at LSU and we had enough talent last year to have gone 11-1 the regular season but shite just happens sometimes.

Have to agree to disagree on that one. I thought that was one of the least talented teams we've had in a while...with a few exceptions.

It wasn't even the wins/losses for me with Miles. I could have tolerated 8/9 wins a season occasionally if we were getting whipped by a better team that particular night. It was the boneheaded in-game decisions and mismanagement of all that talent that irritated me to no end and lead to inexplicable defeats.

“ One of the least talented teams”
We had a number of opportunities to beat A&M and Joe just had a bad game vs Flor. The way we manhandled Georgia didn’t show me any significantly undermanned LSU team. Of course, our bombing out against Bama was disturbing.
No doubt Miles had his less than stellar games. The difficulty he had landing talented SEC quarterbacks or producing top SEC offenses was more than a a little baffling.

They don't think that.
The reason people say things like "it wouldn't matter if we won 5 NC's you guys would still bitch" is that it's so ridiculously far fetched that they know they'll never be proven wrong. If they thought we could win a championship, they wouldn't have to say such ridiculous things. They'd just wait for it to happen and look like geniuses when it does.
Those types of comments are the tell-tale signs of the weak-minded on here. They can't make an argument on the guy's merits so they have to resort to those type of dishonest debating tactics.

We are vastly more talented than a&m and are more talented than Florida. Miles rarely lost to anyone vastly inferior. In fact that was the mantra that he could beat up on vastly inferior teams but he woukd struggle with teams just as talented.
Miles very rarely lost to vastly inferior teams.
