Are you talking about just regular season record? I think that would be UGA, Miss St this season and Auburn last season. If you count the whole season it would include Auburn twice.

We lost to miss state in 2017.
The only p5 teams we have beaten with more than 8 wins is 2017 auburn and 2018 uga.

We beat Miss St this season (I said this season). They were 8-4 regular season and 8-5 after losing their bowl.
Auburn was 7-5 regular season this season and 8-5 after winning their bowl. If you count bowls that's 4 teams between the two seasons. Without bowls it's 3. If you count since he was named full time HC his first game was vs 9-3 Louisville which would make 5 since becoming HC.

Why wouldn't I count a game that factors into ncaa stats?

There isnt a single person in all of cfb that doesnt count the bowl season into win loss numbers.
