Where is a good place to stay in Baton Rouge? Staying in French Quarter 9/4/-9/7 and Baton Rouge 9/8 and 9/9.

Any help would be appreciated. Likely won't have a car so would be depending on walk, cab, or public transportation if there is any. I understand traffic can get bad on gamedays in town.

Looking forward to a great trip. Enjoyed tailgating with LSU fans when they visited a few years back. Great fan base.

The closest place is Staybridge Suites on Nicholson. It's walking distance. No idea if they are already full or not. Outside of that, there are a ton of hotels right off the interstate near college. They should all have a shuttle service, i'd imagine.

Complete long shot, but try the Cook hotel on campus. 99.999% chance that they're booked, but doesn't hurt to check.

Check the Cook Hotel, on campus, but don't be surprised if it's full. I'd google hotels near LSU and save a buck; many or most of 'em will provide shuttle service. FYI: You're probably late already but that's still your best shot.

I'd imagine that most of the best accomodations in Baton Rouge have already been reserved for that weekend. I fly to LSU homes games and I typically have to book rooms eight to twelve months in advance if I want to stay somewhere convenient.

The Hilton down by the old state capitol is a pretty nice joint. Not within walking distance of campus, but close to some historic sights, etc.

He was last year. We'll see how he does with a bummed up line, without Polk, and whether he has a 2nd year slump. But he was pretty banged up last year, could barely walk (especially @ Nebraska) and earned the highest completion ratio of any UW QB - considering we have had some great ones, that's pretty telling. Our TE is unstoppable and we have a great set of WRs. Your D-line and LBs will cause serious problems with our weakened line, especially after injuries and depth problems. We will need to game plan for quick passes and a RB better step up to replace Polk. But Price has shown to be a smarter pass-first player and unlike Locker, even if he scrambles, he is still looking to throw.

Thanks. He looks like a real player, I think he is from CA, Compton, recall seeing him play some HS ball. I hope you enjoy your time as much as I did when we played at your house. These boys have given you a few good links but if you stay anywhere off college or Acadian you will be fine accommodation wise. Nice hotels, resteurants, shopping etc close by.

The hotels on College Drive have free parking if you want to get a rental car.

Otherwise, stay in downtown (Hilton, Casinos, or Hotel Indigo) and take a cab or walk the mile.

Should be decent, considering the distance. UW had to ask LSU for more tickets (and was given 1,000 more) than the contract allotment so the demand is there. Numerous UW season ticket holders denied tickets.
