For any of you who may have attended, what were your observations or impressions?

How clever and witty. Should we fire the Astros manager too?

No now why would we do that?

team looked like they gave a shite, looked much more organized, WW doesn't look out of his depth
We were like 2-25 from 3 and thats why we lost. Doesn't look like the team has a ton of talent but the effort is there which is refreshing.
Tulane fans were way more into the game than i expected

Jeez I hope this retarded impatient fanbase does not jump off the rails because they created their own unrealistic expectations of what his team can be
I swear some of you are the slime on snail shite

i mean i think when people see them play they'll see a team thats hustling for what they get and a coach who is very engaged and competent. For year 1 that should be enough.
This isn't a rebuild, it's completely starting over from the foundation up.

Amen. Give the guy a chance.
You all expect his first year after sucking sweaty arse last year to come in and go to the final 4? Cmon man. Don’t be stupid. He’s recruiting a ton of talent, and rejuvenating the program from the stale smelly turd it was.

Hopefully this will shut up the tards that we’re expecting this team to be a big dance team this year. I think NIT bubble is probably more realistic.

WW is intense! Dude is in your face. And one of his assistant coaches is the Scott Cochran of LSU basketball! Yelling and screaming and chewing arse. This is NOT your Johnny Jones coaching staff. It's gonna be FUN.

Tulane had some athletes on the court. They will be much improved.
LSU just shot very poorly. There was a lot of energy in the building, which was nice.

There appears to be good reason as to why the tigers are picked to finish dead last in the SEC

I have a feeling this is good for the team.
Lots of teaching points, a dose of reality, and the game doesn't count.
I still think we can be a bubble team. I know that's ridiculous, but I do. We just shot horribly. Like flukishly bad. And this is the first game in a new system against a real opponent on the road.
Wade will have this team competing in most games we play just because of our energy and relentless defense/press.
Just have to make some shots.
ETA:
And getting players back will be a big help, especially in the paint. We aren't as bad as last night, that's for sure.

Does Tulane still have a sports program???
Posted on 11/1/17 at 9:13 am to Wind Rivers Tiger
It will take more than a year to undo what Johnny did to this program. Not that much talent on this team but plenty of effort, I can watch that.

It’s not ridiculous. The players have talent. It’s a matter of how fast they gel. I believe in WW, so I’m not counting them out. I would like for us to have a big athletic center though
