Holy shite is that cherry picking a stat if ive ever seen one.

What? Its not cherry picking anything.
Its showing that over a 5 year period 99% of all cfb programs couldnt win 9 games every year let alone winning titles on a regular basis.

If this is the new standard....we will never win another NC.

I dont particularly like participation trophies.

Its the definition of cherry picking a stat. Whats our SEC record the last 3 years? I can play that game also

Winning 9 games a year is not some enormous feat at a school like LSU. We have 4 OOC games a year with 3 of them being complete cupcakes and the 4th, minus Oregon in recent memory, we are usually heavily favored. Add in the shitty 2 SEC teams we play and that leaves 6 games left. So in those 6 games, going 3-3 is just ok with you.

Congrats on supporting underachieving

This shite is pathetic. If Miles was only winning 9 games a year he'd have been fired a long time ago. He won 13 games less than 5 years ago.

You fools act like Miles and Co. are going 9-4 for the last 10 years.

13-1, 10-3, 10-3, 8-5, 9-3 (rainout away from being 10-3)

4 of the last 5 seasons LSU has finished in the top 20, 3 of the last 5 it has been the top 15.

Mediocre right? GTFO

2nd or 3rd most wins in the sec.

You have fricking clue what youre talking about. From 2009- 2013 ONLY 4 programs out of 126 were able to win 9 games every year. Thats a fact.

You mean like every other program in all of cfb?

When the frick did i say im ok with any level of success?

Its fricking hilarious hearing lsu fans posting about what level of succces they will be ok with.
You dont do shite to make lsu football a better product yet get on here talking about what you level of success you expect.

We just basically had a 10 win season with a bunch of sophomores playing in the hardest division in cfb.

Our last 5 years have a better win loss record than Saban's tenure. We finished top 16 5 of the last 6 years.

Exaclty. Since 1965 lsu has had 20 top 15 finishes. Miles has 7 of them and 2 more seasons ranked top 16.

You can bet your arse he will say thats an under achievement at lsu.

Pretty sure a handful of those football players won an sec title and had the best regular season in the history of the program against the hardest schedule in the history of the program.

It's been what? 123 seasons now.

So the best LSU team ever got their shite pushed in on the biggest stage.

Everyone here keeps comparing LSU to everyone else in the SEC but we have the highest paid football coaches in the country more players on active NFL rosters than any other school in the country, and we're on the verge of being the 1st team to have the #1) overall pick the NBA draft and miss the tourney...

14-10. so no

Bama 21-3
Georgia 16-8
Mizzou 15-9
Lsu 14-10
Ole Miss 14-10
Florida 14-10
Auburn 13-11
Miss State 13-11

So tied for 4th in the conference with Ole Miss(LOL) and 1 game in front of Miss St(LOL) and sitting behind Mizzou(LOL). Meanwhile that is with the highest paid coaching staff in the entire nation. Those are also 3 teams who also dont have near of a recruiting advantage that we have.

Season ticket holder. What else should I do?

So 9-3(I added in the rain game as a win) in the regular season with 3 blowout losses to conference teams. Woohoo

What does this have to do with the topic at hand? Oh I get it. Well I think Saban walked into a little different of a program than Miles. But lets not get into that....

Well your definition of underachievement seems to mean they didn't win a national championship. All of these guys played on teams with winning record. And don't you think there are a lot of schools that could post a similar list that didn't even do as well? This myth that our talent is just so much greater than others is just that, a myth. It takes more than one or two star players. It takes a team.

Alabama has beaten us the last five years because they have had better players most years. Look at this year and the way their line pushed us around. That was because our players were better?

Please do something you're proud of in your life so that you don't have to depend on lsu to do the impossible (winning a national championship every year) to feel good about yourself and then us have to listen to you whine about it.
Only 1 team gets it. I'll give Saban credit, bama is good. On that note, only 1 team can win the national championship. When nearly 3 or 4 teams in your conference-sorry the division of your conference- are capable of winning it every single year, odds aren't stacked in your favor.
Lsu is a great program and is elite when it comes to win % over the past 8 or 9 years. AND did that in the best division of the best conference in ncaa football. How many times has lsu nearly beat bama and bs penalties threw the game? I think the most recent was the year before last with a crap personal foul call.
Also, in 2011, lsu beat bama AT HOME, but then had to do a rematch to see who was the best in the country?
Don't be a blinded fool. Some of our fan base can be pathetic sometimes

But losing 3 conference games with Odell, hill, Mett and Landry was disgusting

Can you blame those loses on coaching though. Beckham was a beast, but that fumble against Georgia was arguably the worst play of his career. Mett was forcing throws against Ole Miss, 3 picks and we only lost by 3 points. Bama was a shite show, but lets not act like players don't make mistakes or have bad games. I don't hold it against them because every person screws up from time to time. At the same time they would tell you not every loss is on the coaches.

Yes, golf deserves much more praise!

Football, men's and women's basketball & since 2009, baseball, are underachievers for sure.
