Yes he did mention it while they were talking about Shaq, Stanley Roberts and Chris Jackson.

Watch a few minutes . I saw a team that looked like a final four Ncaa team. Nice job.

I love LSU but they did not look like a NCAA final four team. Looked like they had jet lag although there was only a two hour time difference. They had chances to really put the game away but let USF hang around.

Glad for the win though.

It is solo hard to watch this LSU team that is so poorly disciplined and coached. LSU has the players to match up with anyone but our offense is ridiculous and we play terrible defense.

What we play is a posse version of street ball.

Just felt myself wanting to fast forward to the last four minutes. Actually turned it off and than came back almost at the end.

They are just too painful to watch.

With a top ten recruiting class...exactly what is Johnny Jones excuse? He sits on the bench like a big fat toad. We play lazy and stupid. LSU should have beat that team by 25 points.

Just wait until we get to SMU and Larry Brown. It will be brutal.

And Jones is probably going to lose a couple of freshman to the NBA.

Glad for the win, but yes...we should have curb stomped that team. JJ needs to show some bench coaching.

In what ways does he need to improve his bench coaching? People keep saying this. The only concrete "issue" anyone has ever given is that he doesn't scream and yell.

So you didn't even watch the whole game yet you have such a thorough opinion. What will you say if we beat SMU? What will you say THAN?

I'd start with some basic defensive fundamentals at practice....we were lucky to an extent tha SF wasn't knocking down the 3s last night. They had some open looks.
I'm alright with his placid demeanor during the games...if we're playing fundamentally sound on both ends...something we haven't done on D all year.

Right. I asked about bench coaching. Anyone with eyes can see we lack fundamentals defensively and seem dazed and seem to lack focus at times. Freaking out and throwing chairs doesn't magically improve defensive fundamentals.

The puzzling thing with this is that we weren't plagued by these issues last year or early in the year this season.
