The 9/27 AP Poll is 'better'.
I'd prefer no polls until the first Sunday in October.
For example: Ole Miss shouldn't be in the Top 25, Auburn should be in the Top 25, etc.

The coaches poll right now is a total joke.

California has no argument to be higher ranked that Oregon. At all. Oregon lost to a top 10 team on the road, and California lost to Oregon in a massacre. They both have the same record, so how the hell has California earned a spot above Oregon?

Not to even mention Iowa/Penn State.

This poll is putrid.

Boise State looks well on their way unless they have a major F/U.

Boise's remaining schedule: UC Davis, Tulsa, Hawaii, San Jose State, La. Tech, Idaho, Utah State, Nevada, New Mexico State.

I <3 my Tigers BUT, you gotta love the bubble effect huh ...

fwiw, early polls = cash/hype for games, they will never disappear

undeniable fact, glad we get a bye between UF and AU this year. I actually think its a good thing that our Tigers get a break after UF game instead of before, either way (win or lose) you get a week to calm down, rest and regroup for the 2nd half.

Boise State could go 12-0 and be left out in the MNC game in January. We need a playoff!!!

I think LSU's tied #9 and #10 spot with Florida in the TUba Top 101 is a more accurate ranking for us.

That being said, LSU certainly has the potential to climb to the TUba Top 1.

I doubt it because we won't be favored.

At least the coaches gave Oregon some votes unlike the AP...

You know how there are some people who, if given a million dollars, would complain that the money was dirty?
Yeah...lots of those types here.

I agree with the parity statement earlier, We are in a new era with football because of the popularity. 3A/4A/5A high schools with state of the art facilities and equipment, makes for a lot of talent coming out of high school.

,,,but I'll take #4 even though we need to contiue to improve. I'll bet Ole Piss, Cal, OU, WhoSC, Penn State, tOSU, Miami, Okie State, Va Tech, etc. would love to still be unbeaten and where we are. So many teams in the top ten have lost already, and most to UNRANKED teams. I just hope we can continue to practice hard and GET BETTER. We are definately good enough to beat UGA if we work hard and after that we'll see. ONE GAME AT A TIME!!!!
