I think it has more to do with Brennan actually playing all of his Junior and Senior years in HS, whereas Narcisse missed the majority of both years with torn ACLs.

I'd love it if Narcisse showed up in the Spring and was the second coming of Cam Newton.

Dude hasn’t played football in 3 years and some rantarda will believe he’s a top 20 QB in the world.

In all honesty is the LSU backup QB the most popular person in the state of Louisiana?

assuming this is all legit, i think this great news. Encouraging he is seeking to get better and have some real competition for the QB role. Lets hope Brennan is doing the same. Two QB system could drive a defense crazy, DC would need to prepare for both skill sets.

Y’all crack me up. Dude works out in sweats now he’s a great humble human being. Lowell is a good kid but your logic is retarded.

idgaf about 40 time, cannon, skin color, skill set. may the best qb win. I wanna see a pass completed in between the hash marks. I want a legit threat on 3rd and distance. I want to know that with 2 mins left in the first half that we have an option other than running the clock out.

I remember Harris went to Arizona to train with the some QB guru and the guy gushed about how talented Harris was and I believed him. I hope they are right about Narcisse, but I'll wait and see this time.

To be fair in Harris’ case I got to go to a scrimmage and he looked all-world. Told my dad that day he would be all-sec the next season. he played a game and a half more in his LSU career. I don’t think a ball was incomplete that scrimmage though.

They were using the TE’s, RB’s out of the backfield etc. Les definitely got ultra-conservative during games his last 3-5 years.

"Jordan Jefferson was an All-American every summer."

So were all the backups every game they didn't play

I was told last year he is coming on. If he can stay healthy he will play a lot of football!

There isn't a single QB in college football that are currently better than half the starting QBs in the NFL

I actually disagree with this.

Half the starting QBs in the NFL fricking suck and I'm sure there are some kids in college that would be better than them with an entire offseason to work with the team.

shite, I'd take Mayfield over half at this point probably. But I'm super bullish on Baker and want him to be a Saint.

ETA:

Approx. half of the teams in the NFL would draft a QB to be their starter over their current guy if they had the #1 pick and could pick any college QB.

Do you really believe he’s better than half the starting QBs in the NFL??
I hope he is a stud but that statement being taken seriously is ridiculous

then he's a lot better than JR ever was. Most fans seem to have poor memory on JR. He was not great. He had maybe 3 very good games.

Any report on the knees? Im more concerned about him not being able to make it a full season without reinjuring one of those knees.

No doubt he has all the tools. The question is whether or not he has the demeanor and discipline to memorize the routes and efficiently process timing and reads, all while maintaing sound mechanics under duress. Pulling for all 3 of our QBs. Best man wins.
