Old people get the flu vaccine and it is very high effectiveness.
The same would happen with covid vaccine. Those at risk of death would get vaccinated.
Younger people probably wouldn’t and that’s fine. They’d catch it and have some minor effects and move on. Same thing happens with the flu.
I cannot understand the mentality that thinks covid or even the flu is a minor issue. To old people, it’s serious. To people with asthma, it’s serious(lots of athletes have asthma btw). To diabetics, it’s serious. To obese , coronary and pulmonary patients, it’s serious. That is 10’s of millions of known conditions where this stuff is serious.
Y’all want to be free to do what you want.... fine but guess what.... a lot of the people with money, are fat, diabetic, asthmatics and a few have heart issues. Even more people with money are old. They buy tickets. They pay for tailgates so your sorry asses can drink for and eat canes chicken fingers for free.
You better start respecting their concerns

Whatever, it's a virus paraded as a disease that has a short shelf life. Unfortunately, people will die.
Most of us have shite to do and bills to pay. I had this shite back in December and I've never worn a mask since it has become popular. This "disease" will be disappear come November.

Holy blank. The mortality rate is the MOST IMPORTANT thing that matters concerning a disease. It's common knowledge the small % that get really sick have half the hospital stay that patients had 3 months ago. This is all political bs.

there are studies out of a dozen European countries that show this. they are all opening their schools without problems.

Dr. blaylock cited 17 studies about masks and viruses. now none of these studies were on this particular virus, mind you, but these were all qualified scientific studies and they demonstrated masks did very little to nothing.

he has bought into the narrative that this is a super dangerous disease. Yep, it's real, and it will push some people in bad health over the edge into death, and in rarer cases, will kill people. but we've been living with this much danger for lots of flu strains, other diseases, and have never shut down.
i'm not knocking coach O. no doubt he believes what he says. but if it's as dangerous as he thinks it is, no way we can play.

let me tell you how I feel - it's a danger we must live with. we live with similar dangers in life every day. the odds are in our favor. when there is no food, no jobs, nothing left, you'll still be in favor of the lockdowns, I suppose. when the airlines and hospitality industries fail, as have the small businesses, when no one can pay back their loans, what happens to the banks? you think we can just print our way out of it? The economic collapse caused by the response to covid is going to make covid look like a day in the sandbox.

Please explain how. Wearing a mask, staying out of public, basically limiting any activities only delays the inevitable. The virus is going to make its rounds, our activities only determine the timeline in which that happens. So how would staying home and wearing a mask improved our chances to get sports going any sooner?
