Anyone remember when LSU told bowl officials they wouldn't accept a bid if Louisville was their opponent. So the bowls were shuffled and the Tigers were handed Notre Dame. Best part was ND upsetting them.
What?

Louisville fan forum with some trash talk....

The only time LSU lost a bowl game to Notre Dame was in the 2014 Music City Bowl. That wasn't that long ago and I don't remember anything about LSU not accepting a bid to play Louisville. I'm not sure how much of a say LSU even had in picking which bowl we would attend.

We need to get Jamhow one of those "premium" accounts here

I feel like we will get destroyed either way, Regardless LSU is way better than we are at every position other than QB and it will be a jumpstart for an LSU title run next year

Guess I'll have to side with the LSU fans on this one since I have problems imagining LSU declining to play anyone.
Actually, I'm not sure LSU doesn't have an advantage in this one, given that Orgeron & company will have had nearly a month to install changes to the offensive scheme, something he never had from the point he took over as head coach until season end.
For this reason I'm looking forward to seeing what LSU does offensively in this game, but defensively I expect few changes, after all, why do much more than a bit of tweaking since what has been done to this point has been working pretty well to date...
Guess I should insert "SEC, SEC, etc" at this point....

When did this happen?
Would have to be in reference to the Music City Bowl in 2014 since we did get upset by ND, but I don't remember any discussions about Louisville.
