They have this product called sunscreen, it’s been on the market for many many years may want ask someone at WalMart or a drug store it prevents sunburn.

and heat stroke

How many heat strokes have you had? How many others have there been? How many heat strokes do they have at Florida or Texas A&M and all the other schools that play day games in September in similar conditions. How about at NFL games in Tampa, Miami Jacksonville? MLB games in Atlanta?

Safety is just an excuse we do not need the legislature to get involved, it’s basically 1 home game in Sept a year that may be moved to afternoon for TV. this years schedule Florida is the only 1 that would be moved, La Tech and SLU will be at night

It’s not safe to be inside the stadium, but perfectly safe to be outside the stadium getting piss drunk before 6 during September

The fact that lawmakers are using safety as excuse is pathetic.

Here’s an idea, if it’s too hot for you, don’t fricking go.

Sunscreen doesn't last long in 110° heat.

I have had incidents where I almost collapsed in the heat.

I hope they can get this passed.

Don't engage them. The same mouth breathers that are against this are the same ones on here bitching about the stadium being empty while they sit in the A/C at home.

Yeah Baton Rouge is no hotter than Gaineville or College Station. I can buy night games being preferred for better atmosphere. But complaining about the heat comes off as soft. Unless our fan base is fatter than anybody else's, which is possible.

You know you can reapply it?

Sorry to hear that, of course we should have the government pass a law under these pretenses for you

Holy strawman Batman I love self righteous douche bags that think you can speak for everyone else

I’m against the government interfering in stuff like this generally, we don’t need multiple states passing laws that affect the conference. but the whole “safety” angle is just a false pretense because LSU fans like night games mostly due to tradition. We’re talking about 1 MAYBE on occasion 2 games that would even be candidates to have a game moved anyway.

This could have a negative effect on TV revenue.....you play when they tell you....
It is hot all across the SEC in September.....just the way it is.

This should be an SEC effort, not just one school.

Good. The UCLA game last year was the most miserable experience I’ve ever had in Tiger Stadium…and I was at the Bama game last year.

That's a great idea, but don't bitch when spiteful ESPN execs schedule all the SEC games for 11 am.

You didn’t refute my claim of who you are. Are you a season ticket holder? I am and am in favor of the legislature intervening like other states have.

I carried my 71 year old mother out of her seat to get help for heat stroke. Go frick yourself!

Day games early in the season are dangerous especially since we boxed in the south upper. The wind doesn’t flow through anymore. It’s insanely hotter now with no air movement

I can tailgate under a tent with fans blowing on the kids. I took kids to the UCLA game and had to leave b/c they kept drinking fluids but never needed to piss. It isn't worth it to watch a game so a couple of kids under 10 can get dehydrated.
