Lot 404 for tailgating

We parked there for a couple games last year (we have passes for 404 and 201), and it’s fine, not far at all from the stadium, and is a huge lot.. cant remember how much tailgating there was in the lot itself since we parked and walked to the Parade grounds.. but the one thing that i dont like about it is that after the game they divert you towards the right on Nicholson (towards NOLA as opposed to towards downtown BR.. i prefer going the other direction since the traffic doesnt seem to be as heavy for most games, relatively-speaking.

404 is right on the corner of Nicholson and skip Bertman drive. Directly across stadium. Easy in and out unless u wait around after a game . If u leave as soon as game over or when the game is at that point when it’s a blowout or impending loss it’s not bad.
There use to b lots of tailgating in the smaller part of the lot in the back, And along Nicholson. It has thinned some in the past year or 2 but it’s still a good area. Most of the area right along skip bertman by the old baseball field goes early. I think they might even set up the night before, but there’s still a lot of good areas. Some big oaks in the back by the railroad track

How is the traffic leaving at halftime?

Is that the old Alex box lot? On skip bertman? If so I gotta believe that’s a big tailgate area

Good deal! How early do I need to be there to get a decent spot? Or do y’all mostly set up the night before?
