Something I have not seen discussed yet:

Is the fact that, LSU had 11 pass deflections as a Defensive Unit today.

That is an extremely high number, and it shows that not only are our DB’s getting in better positioning to make plays, but it also means the LB’s have been as well.

The Front 7 is as stout as can be, this we know. If our DB’s can play how they did tonight (Alexander, Stamps, Woodland, etc) this LSU defense is going to be Elite by the end of the season.

We are already seeing signs, but this Defensive Unit is going to be one of the best in CFB very soon.

Said it in another thread, I can't remember last time our DBs knocked down so many balls and played such tight coverage. Sure they got beat on a few plays, but it was miles better than last year.

Amen brother defense won the game today and the offense arguably is the only reason why this one had to go to OT and who would have thought it would have been a defensive battle but both QBs sucked so that’s the way she goes

Hey now, Nuss was good late. That ball he threw to Anderson was in the air before he made his break.

And that aggressive open field tackling tonight was amazing. I’m loving it
