a great deal of playing baseball is mental... PM screwing around with batting order and with the cf/rf positions defensively is, imo, a big problem in games like last night!

We lost last night mostly because of two fielding errors. Although I do think PM should have gone to Rumbelow earlier IMO, like when they had runners on 1st and 2nd w/0 outs in the 7th.

Glenn was doing fine. His defense pissed on him.

I am sure the whole team was mentally dead in the water after the coach changed the lineup

sadly, if this were in the LSU batting order, it'd be batting 7th.

shite or get off the pot.

If Stevenson can't hit the ball this weekend, he's done for now.

People say what you want about Laird but he is still hitting above .250

Nope. Last nights game was a shitty situation. Weather delays, late start, field conditions. Motivation was not there for the players last night. It was only one game and has no bearing on future outings or expectations.

No motivation? Seriously? A sweep wins the West for LSU and they are not motivated? The conditions were the same for both teams, neither pitcher let the weather affect them. At least Katz stood in and manned up in his at bats unlike some others. A L is an L, at this point in the season it is not going to make a team stronger or have more resolve, that is the last thought that would be going through my mind. That said, Jones got off some good swings last night and should have a good weekend, some guys I have no idea where they are at the plate mentally and I bet it drives PM crazy. Lot of B.J. Upton circa 2013 going on last night at the plate vs a pitcher who didn't mind throwing heat high and tight.
