This has to be the worst ever team in a very long time. CJJ may decide to hang It up and retire. He has failed in every phase of the game. I think he needs to go back out west. How can LSU be this bad. I know any of the pitchers ( not the shortstop being a make-believe pitcher) that are halfway decent will probably wanna leave and put themselves in the portal and hopefully guys like Kling Neil , Braswell and even Jones will go elsewhere. ( Although Jones might want to stay so he can play McNeese every week) Bottom line this is 3 steps below unacceptable and pathetic.

The pitching has been acceptable. In fact it’s been very good at times, but there is no excuse to have a team that hits this bad. I can’t understand why CJJ doesn’t have a designated hitting coach like some other programs. But his ego won’t let him

We got swept. We've been run-ruled on several Sundays. We have yet to win a conference series.

We’ve been run ruled 3 times in 37 games. We lost three games on the road to the #1 team by a total of 6 runs combined. One game was extra innings. I suppose that wasn’t competitive either since we were swept.
