It's still am interesting decision. He's a drop-back/pocket QB, which is the exact opposite of the profile that Les says that he wants (and definitely contrasts with Shep).

Hard to see how he fits into the system that Les is putting together, but I hope that he finds what he's looking for at LSU.

i dont think alot of you realize how close these "drop back passers" are to playing.. these guys that like to take off and run ie JJ/RS are playing on borrowed time.. sooner or later odds are a knee or an ankle will get em, always seems to happen, makes it even worse both of thse guys are young and have a lot of pt in front of them. ... In RS's case being under 6 foot and under 200 lbs certianly does not decrease his chances.

JJ is a drop back passer who is more in the mold of Flynn in that he can run if need be rather than a dual threat. His running is ahead of his passing right now, but watching him run you know that he doesn't have that running instinct that a true dual threat QB would have.

Tim Molten needs to change numbers. I can't remember a WR with #43.

Chris Garrett s dad is the president of the alumni association at Miss. St.

I'm sorry, but I don't see the significance of this comment in this thread.

Then why would we recruit him if we don't want him.

Leesville boy David Detz made the roster after walking on last year. He's No. 19. That's a Wampus Cat from a solid military family

I am glad to hear that - the kid is solid.

I loved watching him play year before last - he was a hitter par execelante`
