You are truly stupid if you think LSU was too scared to play at Wisconsin. this is essentially a home game for Wisconsin anyway. Houston is a 5 hour drive from BR, Lambeau is 2 hours from Madison. Lambeau holds a few hundred more than Camp Randall. LSU holds 30,000+ more than NRG stadium. LSU would have benefited much more by doing a home and home. I guarantee you that LSU is not the reason that this is a neutral site as opposed to a home and home.

Free fall

$150 a ticket is hardly free fall. Call me when StubHub has them for $20

2,855 tickets on stubhub as of 5 seconds ago. Game is 14 days away. Would have to sell 203 tickets a day to sell them all. Doesn't look like its gonna be sellout.

I thought it was because Barry Alvarez was scared to play in Tiger Stadium

Actually, UW has a very hard time getting the "Big boys" to do a home and home.

The real reason is that LSU wanted another high profile game in Texas, and this was the tradeoff. Hype from playing at Lambeau (i.e. Game day) is worth the absence of an LSU following in the region.

Neither AD is "afraid" of a home-and-home. That is just silly reasoning fams come up with.

LSU is building a national brand and consolidating east Texas as Tiger county.

Place will be full, not sure where the 66% is coming from, stadium is sold out

So is Tiger Stadium always sold out - but is it always full?

People hedge their bets.

Remember 20k went to the Packers. I am sure there are some Packer people with tickets and UW people with tickets that will go unless they get a big amount of money on stub hub for them.

I think the stadium will be full

LSU is not "scared" to play in Camp Randall, but LSU is the reason that this game isn't a home-and-home. The program has its reasons, none of which I care about; I'm just happy an SEC team is coming this far north.

Thank God LSU has a business sense....if this was a home and home.....we'd be like the 5th most popular game on Saturday. Unranked Wisconsin hosting LSU would be in the limelight.

However because it's at Lambeau we have game day......tons of national exposure and more tickets for LSU fans.

Hmmm?? First Wisconsin game I went to was the "largest crowd ever to see a sporting event in the state of Wisconsin". Ticket was $8. Of course it was 1971.

A little storm this past week has really changed travel for many tiger fans and many having to let tickets go.

78k back in 1971. I believe it was the first sellout at Camp Randall after adding the upper deck. Lambeau was probably in the 50k range of capacity at the time.

Getting 6 sidelines tix together for $300 was more important than saving a few dollars. Come on Sept 1 .....
