Kelly- 4-2 with a great win versus Mississippi State. Close loss to an FSU team that got a week 0 game and is in year 3 of their regime. Big loss to a good UT team.
Recruiting Class rank - 7(one commit away from 2)

Napier- 4-2 with wins over Utah, Mizzou, USF and Eastern Washington. Losses to Tennessee and Kentucky. The Utah and USF wins should have been losses.
Recruiting class rank- 11

Jimbo- 3-3 with losses to App State(lol, Mississippi State and Bama. This is year 5 for him.
Recruiting class rank - 18

Stoops- 4-2 with losses to Ole Miss and South Carolina. Big win against Florida
Recruiting class rank- 36

Kiffin- 5-0 with a “big” win against Kentucky that they should have lost.
Recruiting class rank- 31

Tucker- 2-4 and a dumpster fire
Recruiting Class ranking- 25

Riley- 6-0 but they really haven’t played anyone.
Recruiting class ranking- 14

As you can see. Kelly is our recruiting all these other coaches. Outside of Riley, his record is either better or very similar. We need to have patience with this process.

Kiffin would've been great offensively but he doesn't really have any track record of being an elite recruiter. He's more suited to overachieve with a group of 3-4 stars than he his to manage a roster full of 4-5 stars.

His quality recruiting early on was due largely to Orgeron. I love his offense but we got the best coach of the bunch for sure.

So, money doesn't buy wins, right?

I like how you include a bunch of details justifying LSU's performance, but just mentioned other team's game that they "should have lost". We probably "should've" lost to Auburn.

Should of hired Nappier or Kiffen, but I’m willing to give Kelley time. I’m just happy we didn’t hire Fischer.

I would’ve loved to see what Riley could’ve done here with that offense, but I’m still happy with Kelly I think he will bring consistency here

yeah yeah... everyone expected losses this year..

The team looked like shite and in game decision making was awful.

Here’s one thing that I’ve come to realize. Kelly can build a program from the foundation. There are examples in his career at Cincy and ND. I don’t count Grand Valley State on the same level but he built and won there too.

LSU needed a guy like him to rebuild the brand and culture here that O ruined. We sold our soul for 2019 and it was well worth it. Kelly will have this machine fully operational in another year or two. Trust the process

Exactly. I would have loved to see Riley bring in Caleb Williams; HOWEVER, I think Kelly is better long term

If we lose this weekend to Sunbelt Billy to a Florida team that should be winless in SEC this board is going to melt hard on epic proportions.

Good post but a little too early for this. I am on board with waiting till next year.

Why? I guess I don’t understand why this place is so toxic over an obvious rebuilding team. What did these people expect?

That Florida team should be much better than they've shown this year. They're not that untalented. Couple that with a coach that tried to lobby hard to be the guy here+many among the media/fanbase wanted him. Not only that we just got our shite kicked in by Tenn and BK looked like the absolute worst of Les Miles coaching a football game.

Been wondering the same thing. While Saturday was ugly I really did not expect to win that game. People will feel a lot better about it if UT wins this weekend.

Nobody is mad that we lost to a #8 Tennessee team. But how the team, specifically the offense and special teams have looked at times is concerning. Throw in some bad coaching decisions this past weekend, and people are going to complain.
