Looking ahead

I think the 4 playoff spots will be like:
- 2 SEC teams (unless lsu, georgia and vol all loose games in the next 2 weeks...highly unlikely)
- 1 BIG 10 champ
- 4th spot will be either BIG 10 runner up or BIG 12 champ or acc champ or pac 12 champ.
At this point 2 out of Georgia, LSU and Tennesse will be in. Georgia is almost assured at this point no matter what so the question is LSU vs Ten
- LSU as 2 loss SEC champ is alway in (If LSU can muster some style points against UAB and ATM it will go long way to make this decision unanimous)
- LSU as 3 loss SEC champ is out and Tennesse is in
- LSU as 2 loss SEC runners up is out and Tennesse is in
More likely LSU will play in SugarBowl if they dont get to play offs. It will be good payback to BIG 12 champs i.e KSU
But I rather see them in Orange bowl against Clemson or Even Rose bowl against USC. Dont think either will happen.

Don't you know that you can't look ahead as a fan on this forum. It affects the team if you don't take it one game at a time.

Every one of the next 3 games is a playoff game for LSU.

I don’t think we will be a 2 loss runner up….

Thanks now we are going to lose the next two games because you aren’t focused on UAB. You should feel ashamed.

This can't happen, the only way for LSU to be the SEC runner-up is to have 3 losses.

Unfortunately, that will be highly dependent on the CFP rankings.
1 Georgia 10-0
2 Ohio State 10-0
3 Michigan 10-0
4 TCU 10-0
5 Tennessee 9-1
6 LSU 8-2
7 Southern California 9-1
8 Alabama 8-2
If 8-2 LSU gets blown out by Georgia, where do they fall to? Does Alabama jump them in the rankings? The Sugarbowl will take the highest-ranked Non-CFP SEC team. I fear a loss in the SECCG will have Bama jumping LSU and going to the Sugarbowl. Hopefully, the CFP committee will position a Michigan and/or TCU loser ahead of Bama so those gumps cannot sneak into the CFP top 4.
