D. Thomas and L. James will both be Jr's next year.

On offense, it does look like they are losing two starting WRs (D.J. Davis and Jeff Maehl) as well as three offensive lineman (LT - Bo Thran, RG - C.E. Kaiser and C - Jordan Holmes).

On defense they are losing three of their defensive lineman (DE - Kenny Rowe, DT - Zak Clark and DT - Brandon Blair) two of their linebackers (MLB - Casey Matthews and WLB - Spencer Paysinger) and one cornerback (CB - Talmadge Jackson III).

Looks like they return six starters on offense and five starters on defense.

According to their depth chart it looks like there are a lot of Sophmores and Juniors on the team.

LSU is losing one offensive lineman (LT - Joseph Barksdale) one wide reciver (WR - Terrance Tolliver) two defensive linemen (DT - Drake Nevis and DT - Pep Levingston) one linebacker (MLB - Kelvin Sheppard) and one cornerback (CB - Patrick Peterson) and a part time starter (S - Jai Eugene)

Looks like LSU will return nine starters on offense and seven starters on defense. The starters we lose on defense however are three big ones in PP, KS and Nevis. We also lose our kicker (Josh Jasper), punter (Helton) and kick returner (Patrick Peterson).

Casey Matthews on defense and Jeff Maehl on offense are big losses for Oregon.

I'd rather not...I am not confident about this one. Really hate the matchup.

You looking ahead is perfectly fine. If the team looks ahead, then they will lose.

As a fan, some guys want to talk about Oregon. That's alright.

BTW, if you are worried about Aggie (and your fears are valid), Oregon will destroy us.

Aggie is a good, not great team. They aren't as good as Bama and about on par with Florida, Miss State and West Virginia.

I've never heard of a team losing their bowl game because they were looking ahead to the next years opponent.

Yeah... but the Heisman is Cam's this year. if James returns, he'll be the frontrunner for it.

SunTiger,

I hope that Lache gets introduced to Loston and Reid next season in the opener.

No sour grapes.

Although the media has Cash as the front runner for the award, I'm not sure the Heisman committee feels the same way. Don't be surprised if LaMichael gets it this year. The Reggie incident has left a bad taste in the mouths of many of the Heisman selection committee.

It's Cam by a near historic margin.

Jeff Maehl - the guy always seems to be in the right place to bail Oregon out when they are in 3rd and long.

It would be the most surprised I have ever been in my life if Cam doesn't win.
