Offense:
Replace Brumfield, Brossette, and Moreau, everyone else returns.

Defense:
Replace Williams, Battle and Alexander, everyone else returns.

Special Teams:
Replace Tracy

This is assuming we lose no one else to the draft. I think White stays, TBH.

Return 17/24 starters: 8/11 on O, 8/11 on D and 1/2 Specialist.

I think we finish 7th this year. Top 5 without the theft in College Station.

So.. Top 5 next year to start the year? Week 2 at Texas will be a monster game.

If LSU hires a good OC think around 5. If they keep ensimger and I fully expect them to then closer to 10.

I really think it’s 50/50 at this point for Devin coming back. If he does, I see us being top 5 preseason for sure and upgrading at every position. If moss and pettigrew are healthy, our offense could be really dangerous.

this is very very hopeful at best. white is likely gone. lots of rumors that divinity is headed to the nfl too.

Beat Texas, and roll into Bama undefeated. Schedule sets up well in 2019.

- RB should be an upgrade IMO. Emery, Davis, and Curry all have a burst of speed that Brosette and Clyde just do not.

- Moreau is not much of a loss if we are being honest. He was an okay blocker, and we never threw the ball to him.

- OL is the real question. We have some great freshmen coming in, but I still don't expect the OL to be much better. The hard truth is that we just don't have any true tackles on the roster that are talented or experienced... BEST case scenario is someone like Rosenthal sees huge improvements this off-season. Like enough to step up and be an SEC LT. That way you can drop Charles down to LG where he would be much better.

Worst case scenario on defense is

White, Lawrence, Divinity, going pro.

Would leave us with 5/11 returning but you also have a few guys that played a lot of snaps at linebacker and safety returning. So the main question marks are gonna be on D Line.

The more I think about it and reflect on what Ed O did last year, I wouldn’t be shocked if he only sign 24 and save a spot for a D line grad transfer.

- CB not too worried about. We should have talent and depth there next year.

- Safety I think we can be even better without Battle. Monroe and Harris will be great replacements

- DL is probably the toughest. Really need some of last year's class to step up like Cotton and Livingston... You just cannot expect to stop teams like Bama in the 4th Quarter only rotating 5 DL.

I fear that this may prove to be inaccurate.

Yeah, that Devon guy is a real sleeper and is a shoe-in for the 3rd day of the draft.

Unless OU lands Fields or Murray somehow goes back they arent top 5. No qb that rings bells and that defense is horrid

Defense is loaded

Qb, wr, rb - should be well above average if not loaded

TE - Little bit of a question mark without FM, should be consistant with what we usually have if not a little better with Pettigrew.

Offensive line - we need to be better here in my opinion. As a unit we need these guys to all make a jump. Hines and Rosenthal could make a significant difference with added experience. Otherwise we just need to get stronger and better.

Hiring a new OC at this point would be ridiculous. Why disrupt Burrow and the receivers. Regardless of what you think about E.. this is not the time for a change.

Next opportunity for a change is after next year.

Don’t watch SEC Now. They are talking about the innovative LSU offense and the solid play calling

I think we need to wait the next month to really get a great idea of what we return. There's going to be transfers and certainly a few more guys declare. I think you have to seriously worry about White, Fehoko, Lawrence, Divinity and Lewis in terms of still wanting to potentially turn pro.

Also, Dee Anderson didn't play at all in the bowl game, he said previous he's coming back but I dont take that as a good sign for a guy who was constantly suspended here.
