Peej, if i had a vote, i'd give a nod to the team with one more victory and a conference championship under their belt. Bama didn't win the SEC West, therefore, i would say that they lost in the "tournament" a couple of weeks ago

Meh. This is a focused LSU team. The game will be close but LSU has been coming up with ways to win. Plus LSU hearing for a month how this will be a different Bama team and how Bama will prove it in the BCSNCG will give players a reason to play hard. And Les does pretty good preping LSU for bowl games.

how can you reward bama with a loss and not even winning a conference with a bcs championship birth i dont understand. if lsu lost @ bama would they feel the same?

Jus' sayin. Michigan State would beg to differ. Alabama is pretty good in bowls.

i doubt many would want to see two SEC teams in the BCS Championship.

I agree that it seems unfair, but the BCS is designed to pit #1 vs. #2, not be fair. And that's what everyone signed up for.

FWIW, I think that MSU team was overrated last year. But still, I will give you that Saban is good in bowls. As an LSU fan I have learned this from when he was coach. But what I have learned more recently, is that Les is even better. I'm not sure there are any better coaches in college football with time to prepare than Les.

For SURE. BTW What is Miles records in bowl games while at LSU??? Basic domination in ALL bowl games except in the slop at the cap one. On the turf in the dome??? Bama has ZERO SHOT. Miles WILL outcoach Saban AGAIN.
