All think that lolo is over-rated! Remember that stupid thought the next time you read one of their post. Apparently they have no clue what it takes to make it to the olympic trials, much less make the team, much less win your heat, much less finish 4th in the world.

A tiger in last place in the Olympics is still a positive thing... She finished 4th with some bad arse runners. Very proud of her and happy to call her a tiger. Got to remember that the Olympians are the elite of the elite of their respected sports.

This reminds me of the Anna Kournikova thing. She got bashed for being good looking and not really winning any titles. The thing was that she was ranked as high as #8 in the world at one point.

Comparing this woman to Kournikova is assinine! This woman has won world titles already and takes home the gold medal if she doesn't hit the last hurdle in Beijing, and this Dawn Parker broad should be grateful instead of running off her trap because she would have no gold medal if not for that incident!

She is a high level athlete that happens to be good looking. No doubt she took advantage of the later to get some notoriety and surely some extra revenue for herself. Nothing wrong with that, she has every right too.
It is also true the extra spotlight made here fair game for criticism and as with any public figure is something you have take along with the positive attention. A 4th place is disappointing for so much exposure. That doesn’t make her a bad person by any means.

she was probably un-justly bashed as well. however, at least, lo lo has a coupld of world championships to her credit. it's not like she's never won anything or hasn't been the best at what she does.
all anyone has to do is watch her performance in china during the last olympics. She was blowing the field away until she tripped.
Reminds me of the Vault girl this year. It's really odd for the person who won gold. it's not like they won it, rather the other lost it. They got gold but know they weren't the best.

I really don't understand the negativity towards Lolo. The lady clawed her way back from injuries to finish 4th in the world in her event.
Yet people complain because they don't agree with her personal views or are tired of hearing about her? Seriously? This isn't Tim Tebow. She's only been headlines briefly after Beijing and leading up to these Olympics.
I want to know how many people would know Dawn Harper or Kellie (whats her last name) at all if Lolo didn't run the same event.
Either way I was happy for all three girls. I'm just coming across as annoyed because it seems like the press created a controversy that doesn't exist without them.
