He doesn’t want to be here. Could mean he wants to be elsewhere. Or he isn’t sure. Either way, this wasn’t his clear second option. And that means his heart isn’t in it.

The fact this kid has yet to decide starts to make me think the concerns about maturity / bad advice might have some merit to them.
Maybe it’s time to move on

Him coming here after needing to be convinced it’s his next best option isn’t the slam dunk own you think it is.

Yall didn't even give the kid (and more importantly JJ) 48 hours after the draft deadline to start shitting on the kid. Heaven forbid he take a few days to weigh out his options.
Now we get to look forward to 3 years of you beating your chest every time he gives up a run to try to hang on to your original thoughts that you don't want him at LSU. And YOU will think that your argument is a slam dunk.

How is saying that maybe the best thing for him is to go Juco me shitting on him? Maybe you see it that way but that’s your problem not mine.

You read all the post I quoted and took from that that all you said was, "maybe the best thing for him is to go Juco?"
Not all of us had a NAIA career like you love to bring up, so maybe we just aren't qualified.

Got proven wrong and couldn't even admit they were wrong. Typical message board behavior.

You’ve brought it up more than me at this point
You are obviously upset to resort to personal attacks. It’ll be okay buddy.
My opinion was pretty clear. He wanted a lot of money. He didn’t get it. He wasn’t prepared for plan B even though lsu was his commitment. Me, and many others, think that Juco is the best option in these scenarios. And it often is. And as I’ve said, if he proves me wrong, even better. I promise I won’t be cheering for him to fail.

Kid has talent.
I still have a lot of concerns about the advice he may have been getting and the fact he clearly thought going to JC could have been a good idea.
Does he really want to be a Tiger or are we the least bad remaining option to him?
Look I hope he has a lot of success and is a great teammate. I hope he accepts coaching.
Hopefully for his sake he is able to rip down the red flags around him.

Now Ell gets off the hook bc the real actual moron has entered.
It's the same thing that most tried to explain to yall all along.
- the kid had professional dreams. Nobody, I'm assuming JJ and himself included, thought him coming to LSU was realistic.
- something happened between him and the guardians, causing him not to be signed. Whether it be his fault, his agents, the Guardians, or a combination is 100% pure speculation.
- after that happened he, and JJ had to figure out the next steps.
This is my guess....but I would assume JJ wanted to get him on campus and doing so would take a sum of money he hadn't expected would be needed. If JJ couldn't come up with the money then it would make no sense at all for him to not go JC and re enter the draft. JJ came up with an amount that made it make sense, while also selling him on the amount he could make in 3 years.
Your dumb arse, along with a few others couldn't give anybody TWO damn days to figure it all out before you started making wild claims.
