And Cameron Robinson committed to BAMA. This would indicate that Nick Saban is a masterful recruiter.
That wasn't the point I was making, and you know it. The point was just because you are a life long "fan" of a team, it changes when your future is on the line.

Do you even following recruiting?
Harris was close to going to Auburn, very close.
Not really.

Meh. I'm glad he's out recruiting. Maybe it will keep him out of the game planning for A&M.
I hope your bitching keeps you out of the stadium in 2 weeks.

correct
there can be more than 1 "masterful recruiter"
Never said that there could be only one. This isn't Lord Of The Rings (obvious jokes).

How am I supposed to know what point you were trying to make. You brought up Cameron Robinson so I pointed out the obvious regarding Cameron Robinson.

By passing 3rd grade? Do you follow context clues?
You probably had tunnel vision and the second you saw Cameron Robinson, you took the opportunity to put Saban's balls in your mouth.

So Les convinced a kid that always wanted to be a Tiger to be a Tiger and this makes him a masterful recruiter?
LSU has, in the past, missed out on some kids because it was a "given" they were LSU locks and the effort/legwork was not put in. For all of Miles' stupidity, this is the smart play.

Cameron Robinson always wanted to play for LSU too.
Apparently not hard enough. And if you were as in touch with recruiting as you seem to want us to believe, then you would know that Harris was basically LSU all of the way. That's why he gave an early verbal and has been leaning on others to come to LSU. No one "torn" between two schools would do that.

Yeah thats completely false. He verballed early because he was sold on LSU at that point. Why wouldn't he recruit for the school hes committed to?

WHOA!!!!! Pump the brakes.

Since we are talking about literary devices, I thought I would use one known as contrast and comparison. The OP that I responded to was making the point that Les Miles was a masterful recruiter because he got a kid to commit to LSU that had always wanted to go to LSU. Then YOU brought up Cameron Robinson who was also a kid that always wanted to go to LSU but inexplicably is now going to BAMA. The obvious conclusion being that a truly masterful recruiter convinces the kid that has been a lifelong fan of another rival school to abandon said school and go to a different school like Nick Saban did with Cameron Robinson.
Funny that the first thing that comes to your mind is Nick Saban putting his balls in someone's mouth but I am apparently the one with the problem here.

Hasn't he (de facto) signed with LSU already? I mean I like the pub, but I don't know if this qualifies as some kind of monumental event

LM and CC flew into Shreveport yesterday to visit Brandon Harris. Called the "first home visit ever in November by LSU Head Coach Les Miles," LM let the people know what he thought of Harris.
I personally think the biggest take from this isn't the fact Les Miles showed up, it's the fact that Cam was with him. Cam on the trail recruiting QBs is a very, very encouraging sign.

It's monumental because Harris the first LSU recruit to "sign" with LSU early.

He will be a good receiver at LSU

Miles is desperate ... obviously does no think we do not have QB that can get it done.
