Chris Cotton could outpitch both Peever and Nola. In 2012 he was 7-0 with a 1.59 ERA. In 2013, 4-1 with a scintillating 1.16 ERA. Scads of strikeouts both seasons, and his strike:ball pitch ratio was out of this world.

It's unlikely Cotton will ever make the LSU baseball HOF, as just a reliever, but he needs to be remembered, and rewarded for his career on the LSU mound.
