Why would he care? He's an Ole Miss alum.

this lawyer is good and experienced. jj did the right thing in firig fisher who was a LSU tool and would put lsu first and not his client.

this could (speculation) get real ugly if jj misses the entire season and feels mistreated.
why most on the rant don't think he has pro potential, I can guarantee he does.

worst case scenario, jj misses season, feels mistreated and calls NCAA AND SAYS, I KNOW A COUPLE OF GUYS THAT GOT EXTRA BENEFITS AT LSU. NCAA TO LSU, RETURN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY AND 2 YEARS PROBATION.

don't think it will happen, but this is a crazy story with many twists and turns.

STAY TUNED.

I'm really surprised at the support for JJ. I think his college career is over and any hope of an NFL pick went up in smoke also. It's called hubris.

Here's another paraphrase:

I don't think you can fully judge a football team without looking at the positive qualities of the people in it.

The LSU football team has a long tradition of existence to its members...and to the community at large.

The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules or...took a few liberties with people in a parking lot.

We did.

But you can't hold a whole football team responsible for the behavior of a few sick, perverted individuals.

If you do...shouldn't we blame the intercollegiate athletic system?

And if the whole intercollegiate athletic system is guilty...then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general?

I put it to you, Greg.

Isn't this an indictment of our entire American society?

Well...you can do what you want to us...but we won't sit here...and listen to you badmouth the United States of America!

If this is true and Ungelsby is going to try to force Miles/LSU to reinstate JJ, what does this say about the integrity of Jefferson himself? Is he willing to put his team and coaches thru all this drama to try to force his way back on to the team. Pretty fricking selfish if you ask me and not the team leader that we have been lead to believe JJ had become.

You're jumping to an awful lot of conclusions based on something that so far only exists in the mind of a ranter.

why would this be selfish of jj? lsu will do what is in its best interest and jj will do what is in his best interest. this is as it should be.

It has no liability.

true but lsu wants this off the front page and that would make it more likely that fisher would settle or be more complacent about a jan. 2012 or later trial date.

Listening to Ungelsby last night, shite's gonna get real...

Yeah well, this is what Unglesby said at the beginning of the EWE thingy
quote:

But Stephen Edwards' attorney, Lewis Unglesby, said he was confident that the grand jury would find no wrongdoing.

"I know of no crime that involves any of the people I deal with," Unglesby said in reference to the Edwards family.

"I don't know that Governor Edwards is going to need a lawyer at all," Unglesby said.

"They are gathering information," Unglesby said. "This is in the stage where they are getting documents, many that are irrelevant and have nothing to do with anything."

How real did that get?
