LSUdm21 we meet again. I got your back. Does anyone here know how rare it is for someone on probation for a misdemeanor to have that probation revoked because of another misdemeanor? Its extremely rare. Neither was a felony. Neither deserves jail time. The combination of both doesn't deserve jail tIme. Remove heads from sphincters people.

I have known JH personally for quite awhile. He is not a thug. He is not a bad guy. He made mistakes and he will have to live with the consequences. Do you honestly think JH ran up to some random guy and smoked him? Please. I'm not saying his actions were ok. They were not ok. They are being dealt with the same way they would if it were YOU(unless you are on felony probation, and even then you very well might not be sent to jail). Take a long walk and try to find some common sense people. At the very least acknowledge you have no clue how our legal system works and what is normal. Clearly you do not. Ignorance is not justification

This is his first incident while at lsu...keep that in mind. I know its trivial but it matters when coming to lsu policy

I have family that knows his family and the family of the lovely young lady so I have SOME insight to that whole situation. I'm just amazed at the people that showed up the last few weeks absolutely shitting all over Hill.

Dasalty, I am curious what your involvement in the legal field is. I have a pretty good understanding of the system on my own. I also spoke with a few attorneys(prosecutors and defense attorneys including a public defender).

All has been business as usual in the legal system. Take a look in the mirror. JH has been is going to continue suffering the consequences of is actions. Please, please continue casting stones and pretending like you know him or know better than the judge about the law.

It's a travesty. Fools on here consider these guys gods until one of them, well, act like a normal college kid and do something stupid. Then all common sense goes out the door. And thn they hate them like a fallen angel.

Sorry dude, you lost me there. I can go find about 25,000 students on the LSU campus who have never run up on a guy from behind and tried to bash him. What I saw on that 30 second video is NOT normal behavior for anyone. Sorry.

I still say just shoot Hill and get it over with just to feed the hunger of the loonies. I think that's the only thing you nut jobs will be happy with.

That is a bit extreme. But I feel very strongly that Hill has lost his right to represent LSU on the football field for a while. Bare minimum of 3 games.

That's about where he should be. 2-3 games.

Will Les send the message that it's ok to do this shite? Doubt it. He's just letting things play out before he does what he has to do.

Say what you want. JJ played while under indictment...

Actually, he was suspended for felony charges until the EBR GJ returned only a misdemeanor indictment. Looked it up this afternoon. He (JJ) played against UK first game back.

Man, I love football and I think young college students will do dumb shite and can learn from it, so I hate to say this, but this is how i feel. Jeremy Hill is a fricking a-hole for hitting that guy like that. He should have kept his hands to himself.

Who's the guy who decked him from behind? Was that Bo Spencer?

You can't be serious. So if 25,000 of 30,000 student have never been in a fight, the other 5000 LsU undergraduate students should be put in jail? C'mon bro. Use that noggin of yours. This is something that happens everywhere and is simply the result of these kids trying to have some form of a normal college experience during the offseason. Notice that a lot of the infractions happen during offseason at all cools. Hmmmm. Wonder why that could be. You forget that they are also college students and not only athletes. Should they be held to a higher standard in a lot of ways? Well that's its own debate by itself. If it were your son, would you feel the same way?

I don't know who is more embarrassing in that video. Hill or that skinny white hanger on.

Legal trouble like this isn't normal for college kids that aren't on the LSU football team.
