Not necessarily true. The first incident was just a situation where unfortunately young kids will make. Not saying that it was right to do in any circumstances. Young kids do stupid stuff like that. Unfortunately he was an 18 year old with a 14 year old. That could have ended badly for him. This situation was still from an immature guy that, I assumed, needed a wake-up call from the last time he got into trouble. Sometimes those are the situations that make a person better and hopefully learn from their childish mistakes. He has to realize that he's not only representing himself but his family and those who support and believe in him. If he truly learns, then hopefully he can begin to make some changes in his life right now before it's too late (regardless of football).

Problem with the first one, 18 year olds are generally only considered "kids" when it's expedient. According to all reports, there was some force or pressure involved in the incident. I think a lot of people overlook this aspect of the original charge.

I don't think this will happen. Miles isn't as self righteous or emotional charged as those here who are calling for Hill's head.

If the relationship between LSU, Miles, and Hill since Hill's arrival has been problem free, a fist fight is not going to get him kicked off the team.

Hill has one season to go at LSU and it better be problem free if he wants to play in our next bowl game.

Has nothing to do with being self righteous. It has everything to do with outside pressure and what's best for the team. He's kicked people off the team for non violent behavior, and this had a degree of violence.

You are absolutely correct. What we saw was not a fight. But it was the end of one. Clearly something happened prior to this clip being filmed. What exactly that was, I don't know. To what extent Hill was involved with those events, I don't know either. But you know who probably does know, the judge and the coaching staff. For anyone to sit here and beat on their chest about it without knowing ALL of the facts is just as much a pussy move as Hill's punch.

They've got Les lined out on how to handle it. And if doesn't do it their way, well, I'm calling the ticket office to get their season tickets.

The judge was pretty harsh on Jeremy.

Miles will do what's best for the team. I have little doubt that he's disappointed but will not allow that to affect his decision.

He'll miss a least 2 or 3 games IMO. I seriously doubt he's off the team.

I agree. It was said that she was forced to do it. Take that how you want. I remember when a guy I know was almost in the same situation as Hill. There was a girl he had sex with before, but this particular day they decided to mess around at school. She was a couple of years younger of course and he was 18. After they were caught, she told the principal that she was forced to do it. They suspended him from school but there were parents that wanted him kicked out. Later they found out from a couple of friends that she didn't want to get in trouble so she lied. She actually bragged about the situation and said how good it was but because she didn't want to get in trouble with her parents she lied. They told the principal who later confronted her and the parents with this story which she then admitted to. It was pointless to lie about a situation that could have altered the life of an individual because you didn't want to get in trouble.

Now do I believe this happened, can't really say. Don't know Hill or the girl involved. However, if it came out later that she lied about what happened (which I doubt), I wouldn't be surprised.

Is it hyprictical for a fan base widely known for its ability to get drunk to criticize Hill for getting drunk? Surely I hope that's not part of what you have issue with and if so,

You don't know what you're talking about. The girl recanted her accusations. That's why the original charge was lowered. There was no force or pressure.

Must have been after sentencing, because that was still in the police report at that time. He just pled down to a lesser charge.

That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. Then in that case what I said earlier was true. Not surprised that happened. Saw things were getting really serious and didn't want his life ruined because of a lie.

He was able to plea down because she refused to testify. She changed her story after the charges were filed. I don't want to say too much, but if anyone was doing any pressuring, it was her father.

A bar fight? Bar fights have always occurred. A right of passage.
