Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better.
A whole lot of self righteous going on in this thread.
Hill is not going anywhere over a fricking fist fight.

Has nothing to do with being self righteous. It has everything to do with outside pressure and what's best for the team. He's kicked people off the team for non violent behavior, and this had a degree of violence.
But Miles has a soft heart for players he lands. Look at RP, JJ, TM7, Hill will be back, But NOT until all the legal issues are solved........

I figure he will do what's best for the team. I'm sure Hill's abilities will factor in there somewhere but if it's a big enough distraction, he will let him go.
I dont think that will be the case though.

Ok. He is good.... But for the sake of the team??? Miles WILL bring him back. Look at what happened when he let JJ back and Lee went to shite and he didn't eve go to Lee in the title game when it was obvious that JJ was NOT getting it done.... RP had way, way too many chances and I lost some respect for Les after that.

I don't think Hill is at RP's level yet. Close, but he's probably still got another chance.

Noobody should EVER get to RP's level[ as far as distractions].. Miles let that go way to long.. Like I said. He has a soft heart for players.....

You aren't following along. Most don't think he will.

He was able to plea down because she refused to testify. She changed her story after the charges were filed. I don't want to say too much, but if anyone was doing any pressuring, it was her father.
And the video. Don't forget about that. That's why the girl changed her story and refused to testify. Dad was pissed that his little princess was going at it with a couple of brothas.

The girl recanted her accusations. That's why the original charge was lowered. There was no force or pressure.
That doesn't matter.
Hill took an offered B/J from a under age high school girl and he hit a guy from the side in a parking lot brawl we know nothing about.
He's a "thug". The pure and totally innocent crowd here have decided.

I never said this. I know the kid.. A decent kid who made A bad choice in a bar. He is an LSU STAR. He should know better, no matter what was said to him........ Like the Judge has said.. He is [THIS CLOSE] to screwing up his life.........

Say what? Few people think this. He's a pampered athlete who makes poor decisions at times.

You forgot T-Bob.
I wonder why?

I don't remember the outcry being so loud when it was RP. Anywho. There was plenty of people blowing what has gone down out of proportion. I say this based on the frequency that stuff like this occurs and how few actually get charged.
I still maintain that the poor victim in all this started the brawl and got the fallout of such things. I thought celebrating after the questionable punches was lame but maybe that guy is such a prick we would have been hi 5ing too.

How many offenses did T'Bob have?
T-Bob was suspended from the team following his DWI BTW.
quote:
BATON ROUGE — LSU football coach Les Miles suspended center Bobby "T-Bob" Hebert from the football team indefinitely on Monday after Hebert was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated early Saturday morning in a parking lot near a fraternity party he attended.
"This is a very serious charge," Miles said in an LSU sports information department release. "We have a high level of expectations for the players in our program, and this type of behavior is not acceptable. T-Bob made a poor decision, and it will not be tolerated."
Miles met with Hebert, 21, on Monday. LSU police believe Hebert accidentally backed his vehicle into a parked vehicle after 2 a.m. Saturday. Hebert's blood alcohol content registered above the legal limit in a Breathalyzer test, LSU police spokesman Blake Tabor said. Hebert spent the rest of the night at East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and was released Saturday afternoon.
"He understands the magnitude of this charge," Miles said. "He made a mistake. Now he's going to have to suffer the consequences and do those things that ensure that this type of incident doesn't happen again."
Miles said Hebert will be suspended from all football-related activities — such as strength and conditioning — for an indefinite period, and he will not be reinstated until he meets certain obligations to the team.

Any actions now will likely result in missing playing time.

know what's funny? you base your opinion on a video that doesn't show the whole story.

I don't know what kind of kid Hill is and I certainly made my share of mistakes growing up but what Hill did was pretty chicken shite. At least the people I fought knew they were in a fight with me. Maybe it was just one mistake but that mistake showed his character in my opinion. He needs to be taught a lesson.
