Few questions hoping someone more tuned-in than I will answer:
1) It was the BRPD who released the video clip? Is that correct?
2) Was only a part of the available video released?
3) Any idea why it was released now?

A few thoughts
Yes a cheap shot. However, that was obviously not the start. No idea what happened before. Most of the post knockout celebration was by knockout guy Hill seemed to more of just catch him as guy jumped at him excitedly and walk off.
Punishment is enough. Would run and work the guy to death at 5 in the morning Suspension can go either way. Seen lots of crap like this and no charges ever brought up. I guess I was Also hitting the bars before cellphones were recording everything.

I counted way over 10 but ok I'm still arguing with the guys wanting him off the team and the ones crying b/c he hit a guy unfairly in a bar fight that ended in the parking lot.

It's just unfortunate.
Like TM7, I was so looking forward to seeing this guy play and have the breakout season we all knew he would have. Now, we don't know if that'll happen.
Just disappointing for two years in a row for this to happen to LSU's most dynamic player (and no, I'm not excusing the players of poor choices)

Oh, i have. I spent 30 days in jail for taking a bar fight to the parking lot, and I was in the fight because of self defense.
Second degree battery, probation from a previous drinking violation gave me 30 days in jail. I've posted this many times.
At least it wasn't a bitch punch like Hills.

I think the hit was shitty and a bitch move, but I've seen worse. But...a high profile athlete on probation can't chase a guy down and punch him. I don't think Miles let's this one slide.

All I've said is that it was cheap hit and he should have known better being the high-profile player he is. I've also said a 2-4 game suspension is sufficient enough. A lot in here have said the same
