It's disappointing that 3/4 of the inside info about LSU was not about LSU at all, rather, Nick Saban.

Something about the team would have been nice.

That’s a fair assessment. Ever since Miles has been the head coach at LSU the teams have been very undisciplined and sloppy.

Don't really understand why it's still a comparison this many years after the fact between Miles v. Saban. We all know at this point, but why is that the sole barometer. Can't we identify something about our staff that doesn't involve our previous coach?
It's just that under Saban, LSU was the 900 lb. SEC gorilla. Now it's Alabama under Saban. Under Miles, LSU is more like the amiable chimp. Send him to Alabama and he'll take them down to chimp status, too.

Looking forward to seeing what the Miles apologists have to say about this.

Whatever anonymous coach is quoted can't know anything about football. Doesn't he realize Les is 51-15 and has had the most successful 5 year run in LSU history? I mean 51-15 is all you need to know, right?

Sometimes what's NOT said, speaks as loudly as what IS said. If the only comment centers around what we don't do right compared to when Saban was here, at best that means Miles is a non-factor in opposing coaches eyes.....as has been pointed out in the various discussions regarding "respect" that have permeated the board as of late.

At worst, it means they think he's a total loser.

In either case, it's in no way positive towards him. We get by on sheer talent alone; as I've said before, put any of us in a NASCAR racing against Jimmy Johnson in a Yugo and we're going to win more times than not. Put Jimmy Johnson in a NASCAR and he's going to kick our arse more times than not.
